Shawn Gisriel - Field Technician

Shawn comes to the Pacific Northwest and MSA after many years living in and around the Potomac River systems of Maryland & Virginia. As a dedicated ecology professional, his passion for terrestrial and marine flora has allowed him to assist in working with native plant ecosystems and riparian habitat restoration projects throughout the Olympic Peninsula. After completing the Portland State University certificate of wetland science program in 2023, Shawn joined the MSA Upland team and has since assisted in numerous wetland and critical area reporting projects. He has also aided forage fish and Marine Mammal Monitoring efforts within our organization.
