Madalyn joined MSA in 2022 to add her many talents to projects involving shoreline stabilization, overwater structures, and water quality monitoring. She prepares biological reports, mitigation plans, and permits for submittal to local, state, and federal agencies on projects involving critical habitats and species, as well as coordinates with regulatory agencies, tribes, and clients to find environmentally responsible solutions for proposed developments. Madalyn is passionate about ecology, particularly when it comes to marine invertebrates, fish, and algae. She has experience coordinating and leading field sampling efforts in various aquatic environments whether by land, boat, or underwater, as well as experience processing samples in the laboratory. Prior to joining MSA, Madalyn worked as a lab manager for an ecological macroinvertebrate consulting firm, as an outdoor environmental educator, and as a salmonid fisheries technician.
