Kimberly has been with MSA since 2014 and has worked on a variety of shoreline projects for private and public clients alike. She is the lead report writer for shoreline projects and works with clients to meet local no net loss and critical area requirements, as well as federal Endangered Species Act (ESA) requirements. She has also worked with various state agencies (e.g. Washington Dept. of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW), Dept. of Ecology (WECY), and Dept. of Natural Resources (WDNR)) to develop project-specific water quality monitoring plans and transplant/monitoring plans for eelgrass. Kimberly is proficient in shoreline permitting and mitigation requirements that are required by local, state, and federal agencies (including NOAA’s Salish Sea Nearshore Programmatic (SSNP) Calculator). When she has the chance to get out in the field, Kimberly assists with data collection during intertidal and SCUBA surveys, and she is certified to complete forage fish surveys and monitor for marbled murrelet and marine mammals.
